The Factory Cooking Loop
Snacktorio follows a clear loop: accept orders from hungry behemoths → gather ingredients → design production lines → cook dishes → deliver on time. Each level presents a specific cooking challenge with time limits and quota requirements.
The key is to design efficient automated kitchens where ingredients flow through machines without manual intervention. Your factory should produce dishes continuously until the quota is met.
Production Line Basics
Every production line starts with ingredient input and ends with a finished dish. The simplest pattern is:
- Ingredient source (hopper or conveyor)
- Processing machine (mixer, oven, grill, boiler)
- Output conveyor to assembler or delivery
More complex recipes require multiple processing steps, sorters to route different ingredients to different machines, and careful timing to avoid spoilage or contamination.
